Change Startup And Shutdown Sound In Windows

Hi Friends., Have you bored with by hearing Windows default start up and shut downing sound..?. Yes I know that you are bored.Then this is a nice trick for you that you can change that default sound.And you can use your own voice or any other sound as Shutdown and start up Sound.For this trick just follow some simple steps below...


Step 1.   Choose the Sound file which you would like to Set as start-up and shut down sound.Please note that , The file Should be in .wav format and size should be less than 1 MB.If size is larger, It will take longer time to load.

If the sound file is not in .wav format, Please convert the file to .wav format by using any video converting software

Step 2.   Rename the Sound files as Windows Startup.wav and Windows Shutdown.wav respectively.

Step 3.   Then Go to : C:\WINDOWS\MEDIA     Here You can see the Sound files Windows Startup.wav and Windows Shutdown.wav., Delete it or Rename it.

Step 5.   Then Move your Sound Files to that Folder C:\WINDOWS\MEDIA

DONE..............

Now Enjoy The Change.............
